“Jason has been an employee of Beijing Chijun Information Service Co Ltd, a registered Chinese ISP/ICP in the position of Customer Operations Manager for 22 months. He joined the company in November 2004, shortly after my arrival in China, with the establishment of the company’s partnership with UK ‘Virtual Network Operator, TFMNetworks Ltd. Throughout his time at BCIS, Jason reported to me in my role as Managing Director of the Joint Venture partnership between BCIS and TFMNetworks Ltd.
Within six months Jason was promoted to the position of Customer Operation’s Manager with his role extended to managing BCIS Hosting Centre equipment, IT Services and Client Web Application Development, with responsibility for eight staff. In this role he further developed his technical and management skills and achieved a level of language skills that now enable him to communicate almost as effectively as a natural English speaker. During his time at BCIS Jason’s skill set in terms of Technical, ‘People Management’ and Customer Management have developed rapidly. In managing both English and Chinese speakers within a UK managed company in China, Jason established a pivotal and cultural role for the BCIS/TFMNetworks partnership by championing ‘Western Standards’ of IT and Technical Support.
